Boardwalk not Sidewalk Mission Statement  The “Friends of the Boardwalk” was organized for charitable, scientific and educational purposes.  The goal of our group is to initiate, support and encourage projects for the revitalization and improvement of the boardwalk, beach and the Coney Island and Brighton Beach communities. Our specific goal is to provide a mechanism through which interested citizens can work to improve the famed Riegelman Boardwalk, as well as our beaches and environment.  We have performed surveys of the boardwalk, beaches and floatables in conjunction with the Parks Department, Abraham Lincoln High School Key Club and local youth organizations.   Friends of the Boardwalk is a 501(c)3 Not for profit organization - All donations are tax deductible  Friends of the Boardwalk A voluntary not-for-profit 501(3)c organization Incorporated in the State of New York Home | Mission Statement | How You Can Help | Membership | Contact FOB
